Renate was born in Germany and has been living in Claremorris since 1979. She began painting about 20 years ago when her children had all grown up. She held a Solo Exhibition in The Town Hall Art Gallery, Claremorris in 2008. Her works were on display in Books Etc Claremorris for many years until its closure in 2019.
She regularly attends art classes in the former Paintbox in Galway and loves to meet up with other art lovers and to learn and improve her techniques.
She paint in Oils and is a fan of artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe and August Macke.
