Artists Bio
Anna O. Dixon is a Fine Art graduate specialising in traditional and mixed-media painting. She is interested in the study of creativity itself as a profound source of natural therapy and draws from the abundance of nature itself as her primary source of inspiration. She works from her renovated cow house studio at Ahena Organic Farm a few miles from Claremorris.
Anna was born in London to Irish and Swedish parents and has lived in Sweden, The Burren and in Galway before moving to Co. Mayo in 2005.
Anna is primarily a visual artist but is also a craft maker and writer. Her work is held in many private collections both nationally and internationally.
